Technical Skills:

Must Have:

• Carrying out detailed manual testing of Newgen Products
• Identify and write positive, negative and exception test scenarios pertaining to Unit testing, System Testing.
• Able to write SQL Scripts for testing and matching of DB artifacts and DB table contents
• Automating test suites using open-source testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, JProfiler, etc.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and parameters, help Dev team in Optimizing DB queries and Stored procedures, Data structures, Indexes, DB Normalization.
• Ability to test Vulnerability of web-based application manually or by use of open-source automation tool.
• Excellent knowledge of PL-SQL.
• Participation in every phase of SDLC.
• Should have excellent communication skills
• Ensure that the testing guidelines and quality processes are in place and are followed

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of various automation test suites for Performance and Vulnerability testing, Web-based regression testing
• Knowledge of system integration issues.
• Ability to gather and analyze data and draw logical conclusion
• Very strong in identifying various business work-flows and test scenarios for Unit and system testing.
• Proficiency in PLSQL programming, Unix scripting
• Should exhibit clear understanding of functional data models.
